ABOUT US

THE HOPE STORY

Several years ago, while attending a leadership conference together, God began to stir our hearts to plant a church. Through prayer and many conversations, we felt a clear calling to the city of Arnold. This city is home. It is the community where we have lived, grown, and built relationships, and it is the place God placed a deep burden on our hearts to serve.

As we prayed and talked about what this church could become, we continually asked God how we could best meet the needs of the people in Arnold. Over time, a clear vision began to take shape. It was a vision centered on two things that matter deeply to us and to God: hope and community.

Hope is the foundation of who we are. It is a word we pray over our city every single day. The people in our community, our neighbors, friends, and coworkers, face real struggles. Many are walking through depression, fear, anxiety, health challenges, family conflict, financial stress, marriage difficulties, grief, shame, guilt, and so much more.

Our vision for Hope Community Church is to be a refuge of hope. We want to be a place where people can experience true joy through a relationship with a God who loves them deeply. We believe lasting hope is found in Jesus Christ. He alone offers healing, restoration, peace, provision, and purpose. Our prayer is that our city would thrive as people encounter the hope that only comes through a relationship with Him.

Community is the other heartbeat of our church. God never intended for us to walk through life alone. We were created to do life together, to support one another, and to grow stronger side by side. We believe the church should be a place where people worship together, pray together, weep together, celebrate together, and walk through every season of life together.

Hope Community Church exists to offer a place of belonging and safety through a Christ centered community. We truly believe we are stronger together, and we believe in the power of community to change lives.

In May of 2024, God faithfully provided a beautiful building and property in the heart of Arnold. We see this as more than a building. It is a place where hope is shared, lives are changed, and community is built.

We would be honored to walk this journey of faith with you.

OUR VISION

A Thriving Apostolic church building Community through intentional acts of Loving, Serving and discipling, others

OUR BELIEFS

At Hope Community Church, our beliefs are rooted in the Word of God. We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative message of God to humanity, revealing His plan of salvation and guiding us in how to live.

  • There is one God, who has revealed Himself as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man. (See Deut 6:4; Eph 4:4-6; Col 2:9; 1 Tim 3:16.)

  • The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living. (See 2 Tim 3:15-17.)

  • Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (See Rom 3:23-25; 6:23; Eph 2:8-9.)

  • The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel (2 Thess 1:8; 1 Pet 4:17) by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (resurrection). (See 1 Cor 15:1-4; Ac 2:4, 37-39; Rom 6:3-4.)

  • The basic and fundamental doctrine of Hope Community Church is the Bible standard of full salvation, which is repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

  • As Christians, we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today. (See Mk 12:28-31; 2 Cor 7:1; Heb 12:14; 1 Cor 12:8-10.)

  • Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His church. In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death. (See 1 Thess 4:16-17; Rev 20:11-15.)

OUR VALUES

At Hope Community Church, everything we do is guided by six core values: Love, Serve, Truth, Prayer, Disciple, and Community.

We believe the church is more than a place to attend—it is a spiritual family where people can experience the love of God, grow in their faith, and walk through life together. Our desire is to create a place where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and encouraged.

We are committed to loving God wholeheartedly and loving people intentionally. Because of that love, we strive to serve others with humility and compassion, reflecting the heart of Jesus in practical ways.

We stand firmly on the truth of God’s Word, believing it brings freedom, direction, and transformation to our lives. Everything we do is built on a foundation of prayer, recognizing that real change happens when people encounter God.

Our mission is not only to reach people, but to disciple them to grow in their faith and become followers of Jesus who help others do the same.

As we pursue these values together, we seek to build a strong community of believers who support one another, grow together, and share the hope of Christ with the world.

At Hope Community Church, our prayer is simple:

that every person would experience hope, grow in Christ, and discover their God-given purpose.
